Big sigh. Friday. Finally. No diggity.
I like ending Friday on a high note. Lots of laughs. Lots of throwbacks. Oh and lots of jams. I’m just going to cut to the chase because I have two program summits to sit through all day today. Lame.

Ah! I used to LOVE that Maria Mena song. Lately, Suit and Tie has been the song to consistently put me in a good mood, though.

I love Maria Mena – that song is so funny! Ed Sheeran is also good, we saw him live last year and he was even better than on CD and quite witty too. Hope you have a great weekend Alex!

Huge fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers! Maroon 5 and Sara Bareilles are two of my favorite artists, and one of their songs usually fits with any mood. Oh, and Ben Folds came to campus last spring. Just sayin’.

P.S. Loved yesterday’s post – I had my fair share of crazies when I worked in retail at The Container Store. Just imagine people coming in to find x, y, and z to organize item W by color, size, and shape… And then the panic when we said we were out of stock or didn’t carry an item like that – OYE!
The container store like breeds crazies so I can’t even imagine that drama. Probably pretty hilarious. I know that song was overplayed but I still love it. Plus the video is pretty cool
Omg, so the dad of the family I nanny for loves the red hot chili peppers and has been introducing both boys to them. For the past week, the oldest has been absolutely demanding I play his “snow song” over and over and over hahaha

I don’t know if I have any one particular song that helps me bust a mood, but lately I’ve gotten into the habit of pulling up a Pop playlist on Songza if I’m going out. Definitely helps pump me up and put me in a good mood before heading out!
