Life’s tough – get a helmet. Don’t worry, I have come equipped with a double duty helmet for this week. But oh boy can I get a freaking amen to the fact that it is finally Friday? I mean seriously, we are all on the same page that this week went by super slow. Thank the blog genies that it is Friday.
So back to this funk, it is still sticking. However, I am a firm believer that nothing can break a funk then shaking it up a bit. While I wish I could break dancing with this girl (I mean that is the way to really ‘shake it’ up), I will have to go to yet another fall back.
(cue Friday dance as I wiggle my way to work…) You thought I was sassy a few days ago, I think I sat on a ton of sass today. (Mind out of the gutter!)
It’s ok… to be absolutely digging this DC weather. I mean high of 63 on Saturday and highs of 50+ all week? What could this cold weather hater like more. Legs be free!

It’s ok... to really enjoy helping the students create their business ideas. I rarely talk about my job but the ninth graders are finally at the point to be finalizing their business ideas. With teams are kind of unsure still, I have been helping them scheme up some ideas – a lot of them coming from crafts I did when I was younger or in college.
It’s ok... to be mad at my right leg. I have this weird tightness in the bad of my quad and even a little behind the side of my knee. No idea why but I am peeved about this. Body needs to cooperate. My way to handle it – stretch, ibuprofen ice, avoid web md. At least it only really hurts when I walk down stairs and not when I walk/run. Sigh of relief. Doesn’t mean I won’t it serious though.
It’s ok... to giggle at loud at your desk when you texts like this. Some people just know how to make me laugh…
It’s ok… to be counting down the hours until I run with Molly. (If you have to ask, 21 hours and 1 minute. Yes 1 minute)

It’s ok… to never use category tags on each post. Ok, this is actually not ok and something I will start to do. I find it super annoying that I don’t do it, just making my blog a lot less readable. This will change my friends… tomorrow… not today.
It’s ok... to be pretty excited about getting two free wick t-shirts from my boss. He had some leftover from a race that we sponsored enter two new running shirts that are not cotton. My laundry is happy, my sweat is happy and my lack of real clothes only grows.
It’s ok… to hate Justin Bieber (sorry Biebs…) but for some reason find this music video pretty hilarious. Bieber, you need some camera skills, more mature females and a move other than pounding your chest.
It’s ok… to get a kick out of some recent search terms to get to your blog. I mean these people just nailed it – ‘funny quotes of vegetables’ (well veggies do make me laugh I guess), ‘cranky pants’ (24/7 you know?), ‘oh cat hell no’ (my favorite), ‘makeup for big brown eyes’ (can’t help you there), and ‘its a runner thing’ (oh so that is what you now call peeing in every bush on your run)
It’s ok… to flirt with the Starbucks barista. So story = I never go into the Starbucks near my work because I am cheap. Well I had a gift card and it had been an abnormally terrible morning so on my way back from a school I decided an iced coffee was needed (remember the weather is heavenly here). I NEED TO BUY MORE COFFEE FROM THERE. The cashier and I were talking for a while and making jokes. Thank goodness I still have $10 to Starbucks or else I don’t know if I would ever be heading back.
It’s ok…to snapchat with my sister on a regular basis. My pictures all look the same but she is way better at keeping me entertained. Oh what would I do without a sister?
It’s ok… to be pretty pumped about being nominated for eCollegeFinder’s Top Health & Fitness Blogs Award. The contest isn’t up yet but you will be sure to hear about it when it comes. It kind of made me giddy, who would of thunk? And yes, I did tell the I was not in college and they said that it didn’t matter. Most are not in college who were nominated. Pretty sweet stuff. Again, who would have thunk?
It’s ok… to finally be able to chat with my mom after a week of no contact. I have also concluded she has more of a life than me. Movies with friends… people do that? Kidding, but in my dreams.

This week actually went by super fast for me… probably since I was on vacation until Wednesday.
I wish I had the same problem as you- in not wanting to spend money on Starbucks, I’m actually scared to add up how much of my paycheck actually goes towards their coffee…
Well vacation till Wed is very nice, I could have used that. I am the most frugal person you will meet, I never spend money if I don’t have to
