When you read this, I will be heading out to work at 7 am on a Saturday (boss is even picking me up, what a life). Not ideal but all shoot me some good vibes for leading this long training session for mentors.Tomorrow is a long run day for more and I am already excited. That has got to be a good sign right?
Back and at em. As I slowly ween down on these, I get more and more excited to share the goods.
Think I found a company I adore? So, truth be told I am not a trail mix girl. I have never and probably will never buy a trail mix. I am not a fan of nuts, there are very few that really appeal to me – the only one being pistachios. I was a little apprehensive about what these Seed and Fruit Mixes would contain. However, these delivered, boy did they deliver.
These Not Nuts! Seed and Fruit Mixes have the same allergy friendly qualities as their other products. They are sweet, salty and crunchy all packed into one bag. The added bonus – no nuts! I was able to try Beach Bash and Mountain Mambo. I even shared these because they were that good (I regret this decision now because they ate most of it! I barely got any!). Beach Bash contains Raw Sunflower Kernels, Pineapple, Roasted Hulled Pumpkin Seeds, Cranberries, and Apricots while Mountain Mambo contained Raw Sunflower Kernels, Roasted Hulled Pumpkin Seeds, Raisins, Dried Apples, Chocolate Chips, and Cranberries.
This was not a traditional trail mix. My favorite part was that there was such a balance. There was not too much sweet dried fruit because that is always a huge downfall of most trail mixes. There were plenty of seeds to make a nice punch satisfaction with some sweet treats along the way. I seriously can’t rave about these enough. This is why I am trying to find a health store near me that sells these. Seriously.

I am drooling just thinking about these snacks. They were that good. The founder created these wonderful kale chips after adopting a plant based diet and craving that crunch of classic American snacks. They are dehydrated at a temperature of 115 degrees or below to preserve essential nutrients and enzymes that increase energy levels and aid in digestion.
They are so many flavors that are just out of this world and I am sad I only got to try two of them. The Leafy Kale come in Naked, Nasty Hot, Natural Nacho, Pina Kale -ada, and Vampire Killer. They also have They also have Raw Crackers and Raw Chips – which I have yet to try but will find a way to get my hands on them.
I was lucky enough to try the Natural Nacho and Vampire Killer. Oh goodness, I could not get enough of the Natural Nacho. They were cheesy goodness leaves packed with so much flavor. My favorite were the ones completely coated that formed a harder clump, so delicious! The Vampire Killer was so interesting and again packed this punch that hit with one bite. Who knew kale could be this tasty? I am sold on these!!!!

So quick recap. Hands down I would buy both of these, with my own money. They are seriously the kind of foods that work well with my tummy, give me some great snacks and taste incredible.
Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!
