Finally on my way back from Launch Camp. Can’t wait to share all the hilariousness that went down. My mind is running ahead to all I have to do and how crappy I am going to feel after the root canal (does this mean I can only eat Arctic Zero? Hm…..)
In a short blurb (more tomorrow), I left the bag with my sheets and snacks in my apartment and nearly cried. Enter no food at launch camp for me. What a struggle, I end up only being able to eat apples I found and candy. Yuck. On top of that the antibiotics are causing non stop diarrhea (sorry TMI). Good news? No work tomorrow so I can tackle the epic to do list I have for the weekend and mentally prep for the root canal tomorrow.
As I eat my body weight in sugar free popsicles and jello (the only thing my mouth and stomach is able to handle), I am dreaming of these bad boys.
Snack Attack: Plentils
First off, I love their tag line Enjoy Life, Eat Freely. That is a motto I want to live by and work to live by. Why not eat freely? Plentils are crunch lentil chips that have 40% less fat than normal potato chips, made from high protein lentils, have no artificial ingredients and are what they consider “the new chip with benefits”.
All Enjoy Life products really deliver to their customers. They are gluten free and allergy friendly meaning they are free of wheat, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, soy, fish and shellfish. They are also free of potatoes, sesame, sulfites and casein. They are gluten free, Kosher and Halal certified. Have I won you over yet?
I was lucky enough to be able to sample the new flavors of Plentils which is their new line of gluten free goodness. Their flavors were Sea Salt, Garlic & Parmesan, Dill & Sour Cream and Margherita Pizza. Honestly, I didn’t know which flavor to try first – these are all some of my favorite flavor combos. I seriously thought someone ordered a pizza up in here. These puppies had an amazing crunch and flavor that shone through. I tasted them and couldn’t get enough. I can’t say enough of how these delivered and I just love the ingredients that I full believe these snacks are a winner. Crunch crunch, lick my fingers, crunch some more. They weren’t too heavy and really delivered on that snack size portion goodness.

Ps. I want to be clear here because I still get questions. I am not paid to do this so I say what I truly believe. I also don’t do this to bore you – I honestly want to share some unique foodie things that may get hidden behind the tradition blogger nut butter, greek yogurt, cookie butter fads. When I say these products are good, that means that I would buy them and I would encourage you to do the same if you are looking to shake things up!

Oh my gosh I’d die at camp! Good job at sticking to what you’re body can handle food-wise. I’m sorry your sick. Take care of yourself and those antibiotic side affects. They can be no joke.

Good luck with the root canal! I don’t know how Arctic Zero would work, I guess it depends on how sensitive your mouth is but you might not want to eat anything extremely hot or cold. Those chips look super nice and it’s neat that you are reviewing things because you like them and not for money or compensation. That’s more honest anyway and truthful. Sorry about your TMI Side effects… all medicine makes me drowsy so I sorta know how bad the side effects can be.

I hope I can allow myself to spend that five dollars for one, after chalking up the root canal money i am not sure how I will feel about this…. we will see. I do the same, those pints are delicious. You would love these snacks, they are delicious.
