You Feeling it?

I love Tuesday and trade em up because I get my sarcastic self out. Not going to lie though, I had trouble thinking of what to trade. Of course there are always those petty #broke status things I could whine about but today I am just oozing with giggles. We all have those moments. So here is for some sarcastic kick butt kind of trading.

I would trade… germy sweat exchanges for some hand sanitizer good lord! I sweat, we all sweat, I get it. I am that girl who will ride the elevator after a humid run even if it may have other occupants. (This is not a way to make friends by the way!) But when you have sweat on your brow, wipe it with your hand and THEN hold the metro rail. I want to cry. Lately, this has been a norm that I watch and have a gag reflux at. I am buying hand sanitize when I get home, no doubt about it.

I would trade…my decision not do a full grocery shop this weekend for some food. Dang, I thought I could last till Thursday but I have run out of a lot already. Stupid Alex. With a busy week and no time to go to the grocery store, I am in for a lame few days.

I would trade…the internet less weekend down the Cape (I sometimes need that time to myself sometimes, you know?) for some wifi baby! Actually, you all luck out with this scenario. Since I will be travelling for not only this upcoming long-ish weekend and then doing the overnight launch camp for two days when I return – I wasn’t sure the best way to approach this. Then I realized I had a huge amount of thank you’s I needed to express – TO ALL OF YOU. I am so grateful for blogging right now I can’t even begin to say. In honor of that, I will be stuffing you all to the brim in the next month with knowledge and of course some lovely giveaways (over 15 different ones… ). (ps. I get asked a lot but I am NOT paid to do these so all opinions are my own and 100% done for you all!)  Let me tell you, get prepared for some great stuff. I am still trying to figure out the best way to post the reviews/giveaways while still staying true to many of my regular posts.  I will always be true to my content because heck that is why I blog. Luckily, these will stretch for the next three weeks, some reviews some giveaways, you get the gist.

I would trade…having to work late most every night this week and next for a girls night! Just the thought of things calming down so I can do something other than work during the weeknights gets me excited. Is it strange I can’t wait for some good old fashion tv watching, crafting and noming with a friend?

I would trade… my lack of guilt in certain situations for maybe some sort of ‘feeling bad’ emotion. Let me explain. I am the queen of guilt. I tend to feel it when I shouldn’t. But in some situation, I could not give a flying squirrel about what I am doing. For instance, my flight on Thursday is at night. However, I will be leaving from work in the afternoon. There are flights to Boston every hour. I am going to try to get on an earlier one – without paying for the exchange. I have done this before, I seriously put a few glassy eyes on, began to sniffle and walk away when the lady said I had to pay. Quickly she grabbed me and gave me a free upgrade to the earlier flight. I am praying I can work magic this time too. Is this terrible of me?

I would trade… hot boy next door having a girlfriend for a single guy on this darn hall. Yes, sadly my gawking boy was seen canoodling with a girl outside the elevator as I awkwardly (in socks and a t-shirt) threw my trash down the chute. Man I am bummed.

I would trade… the crazy amount of stress I am feeling for some calming thoughts. I have a lot going on and it just hit me how busy I actually am. Even though this weekend may be called a vacation, it will be packed with working remotely (yes sadly) and preparing for the crazy week of work when I get back. In stressful times, I just have to remember what comes first – my health and my sanity. So there are things despite all the whirlwind around me I must do for my own sake – even if that means grocery shopping at 11 pm on a weeknight so I at least have food in the apartment when I return. Oh what a doozy ahead.

I would trade… a possible electrical shut down for an easier way to confirm my electricity. So last night I was hit by a ton of bricks when I looked over my series of lists (no lie….) and realized the one thing I had yet to do for the apartment bills was confirm my electricity. Oh shiz. The problem with them and why I had put it off was because I have to go to their office with my lease during the workweek when they are open from 10am -5pm. What!!!! I work during those hours and this place is NOT on my way to work. So inconvenient. I am going to try and beg them tonight. If not I could be furniture-less and light-less. Imagine me eating a watermelon by the light of candle.

Questions: What would you trade up this Tuesday? What made you laugh today?
